Rose Mallett has captured the essence of vocal delivery reminiscent of the range and texture of Sarah Vaughan, the joy and playfulness of Ella Fitzgerald; the foreboding pain of Billie Holiday; and the regal articulation of Lena Horne. Her voice is simply beautiful along with her company of musicians; Pam Phillips on Piano, Danny Flahive on Bass, and Brian Pim on Drums.
